Awana Awards Night

Tonight was awana awards night. Addie's Cubbies Class went on stage. They sang songs and said their key verse. She got an award for finishing her book. She learned around 25 bible verses this year. She learned so many new songs "I've got the JOY JOY JOY JOY down in my heart", "this little light of mine" "I've got peace like a river". Different songs than what we sing in Sunday School. She loved her first year of Cubbies. Whenever I would pick her up someone would tell me a story of how she talked to them, or just how friendly and great she is. Rob would peek in on her during the nights and find her sitting next to the secretary having a discussion. Many times we were told by her leader that she likes to roam around, going table to table to say hi to her friends. She really does have a great outgoing personality. She will talk to you, ask you questions, and then the next time she sees you, she will remember your name, your husbands name, and your kids names. We're so proud of her and blessed by her kind heart and outgoingness. She is a great example to me, as I am very intraverted, I pray I can continue to learn from my 4 year old social butterfly.
